To All our Valued COOP Members:
My Warmest greetings and Congratulations to my fellow Cooperators on this 48th General Assembly of our beloved Holy Child Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
Our efforts in bringing our cooperative to higher grounds are now into fruition. But we still have a long, long way to go. We need to be recognized by society for us to matter. In this light, we have to double our efforts towards achieving the crucial bottom line that would spell viability and sustainability. Much has been said about poverty alleviation, but I know and I believe that it is only through cooperativism that we can do it.
As a financial cooperative, we focus on developing and providing financial services not only to our members but to the community people as well, in the year 2012, we started the MICRO-FINANCE Program with the aim of reaching out to the poor who need but are denied access to financial services. The fast pace in which the program has expanded attest to the enormous interest the program has generated. The program, however, is not without its own share of problems and challenges. We have constrained by the difficulty of finding qualified people. We have to make an outreach efficient so that we may maximize reach to our target clientele on a sustainable basis. Our products and services have to more responsive and effective, thus we have included studies and development as a component of the program through the help of our Consultants.
I wish us all great success in bringing together and further integrating all our efforts to have one movement, one vision, one mission.
May the Holy Child Jesus – Sr. Sto. Niño continuously shower us more years of existence of our Cooperative.
