Help Yolanda Typhoon VictimsVICTO national is accepting donations for people affected by typhoon Yonalda/Haiyan. Every contribution whether large or small, will make a difference | Deliver Relief to Northern CebuOn Friday 15th November, VICTO National successfully delivered 400 relief packs to co-op members affected by Typhoon Yolanda. Each pack contained 2kg rice, 3 cans of sardines, 3 packets of noodles and 2L of water. The VICTO team traveled to cialis the Bogo, San Remigio, and Medelin areas within Northern Cebu, and were greatly assisted by Alfonso B. Vasquez IV from People's Co-Op who provided local expertise on traveling routes and connections with co-op members. | Relief to Botlog, Concepcion, IloiloThe relief operation was initiated by VICTO National and partner agency YLD, Inc. Food packs included 9 packs of instant noodles, 10kg bags of rice, 4 cans of easy-to-open sardines. In addition, toiletries, detergent bars, matches, bowls, cups, plates, pre-loved clothing and laminated sacks to be used as temporary roofing were provided. |

Partnership With Autralian RescueVICTO National, in partnership with the Medical Rescue Foundation (Medical Rescue), deployed 3 teams of Australian doctors, nurses and paramedics to provide free medical treatment for victims of typhoon Haiyan. The teams were led by the capable Garry Silk, and were deployed in both Eastern and Western Visayas. It was a successful medical mission with 3,522 patients treated. | VICTO National Deliver ReliefThe VICTO National region 6 office participated in a relief operation to the devastated island of Botlog, Concepcion, Iloilo (North of Panay) which was affected by Typhoon Yolanda. | VICTO National would like to thank the following donors and partners who assisted in this relief operation to Botlog: Yamang Lupa’t Dagat (YLD, Inc.) – Mariano Cordero, BOD Chairman – cash donation for 20 sacks of rice Roger Miall – UK – cash donation Dianita Casuno – pre-loved clothing DSWD- 6, DPWH, Iloilo – dump truck for fast delivery of goods to its destination Police Regional Office-6: PSupt Samuel Nacion – for providing police escorts to ensure safe delivery of goods |
VICTO with Australian RescueOn Friday 13th December, a presentation was made to the Medical Rescue team to acknowledge their valuable contribution to the typhoon Haiyan relief efforts. VICTO National would also like to thank Mr. Crisanto “Boysie” Roque for his assistance in bringing together the partnership between Medical Rescue and VICTO National. | VICTO Deliver Relief to IloiloOverview: 106 families including extended family members on the entire island. 70 are co-op members. The primary means of livelihood on the island is fishing. |
