VICTO National Disaster Relief (Region 8)
Friday 8th November was a tragic day for the Philippines, and particularly for Region 8. Typhoon Haiyan was the most powerful and deadliest typhoon this country has ever endured. The impact was catastrophic! Region 8, and particularly Leyte, experienced the most significant impact to both people & infrastructure.
VICTO National conducted relief missions to provide relief goods to affiliated co-operatives and their members, as well as directly impacted VICTO staff in Region 8.
