VICTO National distributed over 2000 relief packs to adult and children who are affected by typhoon Haiyan which devastated the Visayas on 8th November 3013.The VICTO National teams included:   Bell Rose Tamdang. Reshmi Balgovind, Marco Rafael Ardamin and Jose Allan SanChez Bartolo II.  Donations were distributed to schools and communities in Bugasong (Antique), Botlog Island (Concepcion) and Pontreveda (Capiz)

We would like to acknowledge the following contributions:

 

  • Free flight and transport of cargo from Cebu to Ilo-ilo on the C130 was provided by the Australian Air Force

  • Vehicles, drivers and police escorts for Abtique province (courtesy of local government)

  • Local host in Bugasong-Bugasong Multipurpose Cooperative

  • Labor for shipment & packaging of relief goods (courtesy of VICTO national staffs and Australian Medical Response Team
